The primary focus of social sports club is to provide a platform for individuals to enjoy sports and physical activities in a relaxed and recreational environment. The emphasis is on having fun, socialising, and building a sense of community. Competition may exist, but it is generally less intense and more about participation and enjoyment.

Amateur

Amateur Local Sports Clubs

Amateur clubs focus on structured training, competitive play, and skill improvement, often participating in organised competitions. Players are not paid for playing for the club but they may pay a membership fee to belong to the club.

Semi Professional Clubs

These clubs often compete at higher levels within their respective sports but may not have the financial resources or infrastructure of fully professional clubs. Examples could include semi-professional basketball teams or local rugby or soccer clubs. Sports players are not participating on a full time basis and may or may not receive some payment.


Professional

Professional Sports Clubs

These are fully professional sports organisations that compete at the highest levels of their sport at a regional, national or international level. This could include professional soccer, rugby, or cricket teams that are part of official leagues or competitions.
